The Immigrant Learning Center, with our partner the Institute for Immigration Research at George Mason University, has compiled fact sheets to answer the most pressing questions about the top ten immigrant populations in the Greater Boston area. The reports explore the most common occupations, educational backgrounds, median income and more for each immigrant population.

Immigrants from China are the third largest immigrant group in the U.S. after Mexico and India. In Greater Boston, immigrants from China form the largest immigrant group ahead of, in order, Dominican Republic, India, Haiti, Brazil, El Salvador, Vietnam, Canada, Guatemala and Cape Verde. Data from 2017.
