The Immigrant Learning Center, with our partner the Institute for Immigration Research at George Mason University, has compiled fact sheets to answer the most pressing questions about the top ten immigrant populations in the Greater Boston area. The reports explore the most common occupations, educational backgrounds, median income and more for each immigrant population.

The U.S. is the number one destination for Canadians living abroad. In Greater Boston, they are the eighth-largest immigrant group after, in order, China, Dominican Republic, India, Haiti, Brazil, El Salvador and Vietnam and ahead of Guatemala and Cape Verde. They also have the highest median age, 52 years. Data from 2017.
