The Immigrant Learning Center, with our partner the Institute for Immigration Research at George Mason University, has compiled fact sheets to answer the most pressing questions about the top ten immigrant populations in the Greater Boston area. The reports explore the most common occupations, educational backgrounds, median income and more for each immigrant population.

There are more Cape Verdeans living abroad than in Cape Verde itself. The majority live in the United States. Immigrants from Cape Verde form the 10th largest immigrant group in Greater Boston after, in order, China, Dominican Republic, India, Haiti, Brazil, El Salvador, Vietnam, Canada and Guatemala. Data from 2017.
